I have over spent this month and cannot afford to pay

I keep having really expensive months and I really can't afford to pay you. Can you help?

The best way to make sure you don't over spend each month is by setting your payment as a Direct Debit or debit card payment on the date you receive your wages or benefits.

We can accommodate most kinds of payments, including weekly, fortnightly and four weekly.

You can manage your payments yourself by visiting your Debt Line online account

We do understand that sometimes there will be expensive months but without regular payments, Debt Line are not able to send payments out to the people you owe money to.

Can I pay double next month to make up for it?

Hi Rhys,

Missing a payment to the people you owe money to is likely to break any arrangements we have in place.

If you can't avoid missing a month's payment you can pay double the next month. Although this isn't ideal, it will allow us to catch up with your payments.
