by Simon 11 months ago.

I have an account with you but I can't pay this month, what should I do?

You need to make sure your payments reach us on time each month.  If we dont receive your payments, Debt Line are not able to send payments out to the people you owe money to. As a result, they are within their rights to break the arrangements and apply interest & late payment charges onto your debts.

To avoid this happening it's always worth seeing if any friends or family can help you to pay this month.

If you are still not able to afford your payment then you have a few options:

• If your circumstances change we may be able to reduce your payments by looking at your income and expenses
• You can make a double payment next month - although this isn't ideal, it will allow us to catch up with your payments

You can manage your payments using your online account here

I can't afford to pay you this week as my wages are going to be paid at the end of the month instead of weekly. What can I do?

Hi Silas,

We want your payment date to fit around when you get paid. This is why we allow our clients to pay us monthly, weekly, 2-weekly or 4-weekly.

To change the way you pay please call your account management team on 08000919991.

Thanks!
